General guarantee conditions
At astropet.de we attach great importance to the quality of our products and services. All products sold by astropet.de have a manufacturer's guarantee that ensures that the products are free of material and processing errors when used normal.
Guarantee period
The guarantee period varies depending on the product category and manufacturer. Please refer the specific guarantee conditions to the product package or the product description on our website, generally two years.
What is covered?
The guarantee covers material and processing errors. It does not include:
- Damage due to improper use, abuse or neglect.
- Normal wear.
- Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs.
- Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents or broken plastic.
- Damage caused by natural disasters.
How can you claim a guarantee claim?
To assert a guarantee claim, please proceed as follows:

Contact us: Send an email to service@astropet.de With your order number, product details and a description of the problem.

Provide proof of purchase: Add a copy of your receipt or purchase receipt.

Send product back: If you are asked to do so, send the product back to the address given by our customer service. Make sure that the product is securely packaged to avoid further damage during transport.
Processing of your claim
As soon as we get your product, our team will examine it to determine the cause of the problem. If the defect is covered by the guarantee, we will be at our discretion:
- Repair the product.
- Replace the product with a new or general -overhauled product of the same value.
- Grant a refund.
Shipping costs
- If the product is recognized as defective and is under the guarantee, we cover the shipping costs for the return and for the replacement or repaired product.
- If the product does not fall under the guarantee, the customer bears all shipping costs.
